Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of haven sened' website and interior design services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

• "Services" refers to interior design consultations, room design, and whole home design services provided by haven sened
• "Client" or "You" means any person or entity engaging our services
• "Deliverables" includes design plans, renderings, shopping lists, and other materials provided as part of our services
• "We/Us/Our" refers to haven sened

3. Service Terms

3.1 Eligibility

Services are available to individuals 18 years of age or older. Clients under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

3.2 Service Scope

Our services are consultative and provide design recommendations. Implementation of designs remains the client's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing. We do not provide construction or renovation services directly.

3.3 Project Timeline

Timelines provided are estimates based on typical project requirements. Actual completion may vary depending on factors including client response time, project complexity, and unforeseen circumstances.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Fees

Service fees are as stated on our website or in individual service agreements. All prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include applicable taxes.

4.2 Payment Schedule

• Design Discovery Session: Full payment upon booking
• Curated Room Design: 50% deposit upon booking, 50% upon delivery
• Whole Home Consultation: 30% deposit upon booking, 40% at midpoint, 30% upon completion

4.3 Late Payment

Late payments may result in service suspension. Interest may be charged on overdue amounts at the rate of 1.5% per month.

5. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about space dimensions, budget, and requirements
• Respond to design proposals and questions within reasonable timeframes
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals for renovations
• Verify measurements and specifications before purchasing items
• Hire qualified contractors for implementation work
• Comply with building regulations and condominium management rules

6. Intellectual Property

All design concepts, plans, renderings, and other deliverables remain the intellectual property of haven sened. Clients receive a license to:

• Implement the design in their specified property
• Share deliverables with contractors for implementation purposes

Clients may not reproduce, sell, or use designs for other properties without written permission.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

7.1 Client Cancellation

• Cancellation more than 7 days before scheduled consultation: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
• Cancellation 3-7 days before: 50% refund
• Cancellation less than 3 days before: No refund
• For multi-stage services: Refund available for uncompleted stages only

7.2 Our Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel services if client provides inaccurate information, fails to make required payments, or behaves inappropriately toward our team. In such cases, refunds will be prorated based on work completed.

8. Limitations of Liability

8.1 Service Limitations

Our services are consultative recommendations. We are not liable for:

• Contractor workmanship or material quality during implementation
• Costs exceeding estimates due to unforeseen conditions
• Delays caused by suppliers, contractors, or regulatory approvals
• Changes made to designs during implementation
• Satisfaction with subjective aesthetic preferences

8.2 Maximum Liability

Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1 Informal Resolution

Parties agree to first attempt informal resolution of disputes through direct communication.

9.2 Mediation

If informal resolution fails, parties agree to mediation before pursuing legal action.

9.3 Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Singapore law. Any legal proceedings must be brought in Singapore courts.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered clients. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
